MANNING FARM VISIT
On the last day of school, Ms. Tara and Ms. Grace’s classroom went to the Manning Farm to extend our Dairy in the Classroom learning. We had a great time learning about all the cows and how they are milked daily and we actually got to see the milking process in action:) We saw piglets and calves and got to learn about the farm. Some of the babies sucked right on the kids hands…it was amazing! Miss Danielle loved the little piglet and wanted to take him home. He was such a little baby! At the end the children got to climb up in the tractor and then they got ice cream which we ate there and chocolate and white milk which we tried back in the classroom. It was an amazing way to end an amazing year in Kindergarten!
INVESTIGATORS FIELD DAY
On the last full day of school, the Investigators took some time to head outdoors and hold their own version of a field day. Ms. Ainsworth shared a few pictures from the event.
VOYAGERS FIELD TRIP TO HARD'ACK POOL AND PLAYGROUND.
Team Voyagers had a blast at the Hard'ack on June 13th. The weather sparkled as the kids and adults swam and played.

MEALS
SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM - ALL CHILDREN ELIGIBLE - details below.
Maple Run is thrilled to introduce our complimentary summer meal program, a collaborative effort with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). This remarkable initiative aims to provide nourishing meals to every child and teenager in our community, aged 18 and under, throughout the summer break when schools are closed.
Parents, guardians, and children can conveniently pick up free meal boxes at Saint Albans City School on Tuesdays. Each box contains meals for seven days, including breakfast and lunch. These meal boxes are available to all families with children under 18 in our community. We welcome everyone; no proof of eligibility is required, and no one will be turned away. All meals are intended to be consumed by children aged 18 and under.
If you are interested, please email us every Friday by noon if you plan on picking up a box. Please note that we cannot hold boxes for those who do not email in advance. For more information, feel free to reach out.
