SAVE THE DATES for FINAL EXAMS
June 11 & June 17 – June 25
Students with scheduled exams are expected to be there for ALL EXAMS!
The 1st quarter ends on November 8th! SchoolTool Gradebooks have been updated. Please review your child’s grades in SchoolTool. If you have any questions about their progress, please speak to them and reach out to their teacher(s). Go to Brighton Central School District - Portal Page Home (bcsd.org)

What You Need To Know About the SAT & ACT This Year

Find out everything you need to know about the tests, why they matter, and what you should do about them in our annual seminar with Mike Bergin of Chariot Learning. Yes, we'll discuss upcoming changes to the ACT!
Cancellation of District Fall Day of Dance
Fall Day of Dance has been cancelled for Saturday, Oct. 19th.
We will hold our Spring Day of Dance on Saturday, April 26th.
BHS Blood Drive
Brighton High School is hosting its first blood drive of the school year on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the cafeteria (enter via Door 22). All donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card by email. Click here to schedule your blood donation. View the flyer for more information.

School picture retakes will be taken by Inter-State Studios this year.
The Senior Panorama is scheduled for 11:20 on Monday, November 18th, in the Main Gym.

Are you interested in hosting our French intern for just a few months?
We still have a need for more host families for our French intern from Jan-June. Our interns have been part of the Brighton community for over 30 years, and we are looking for enthusiastic host families that want to share their culture, traditions and make an international connection. If you are interested in hosting Emmy, please reach out to Laura Hernandez as soon as possible.
Senior Information
Class of 2025, we have a GRADUATION date!
Graduation will be held on the Turf Field on June 24, 2025 at 7 p.m., with a rain date June 25, 2025. Graduation rehearsal will be at 10 a.m. on the day of graduation.
Brighton Community Education News!
An SAT and ACT Exam Boot Camp class is being held at BHS on November 16, 2024.The SAT/ACT Boot Camp thoroughly reviews the essential reading, writing, math, and test-taking skills and strategies for the most current versions of both exams. We’ll also outline the additional content and action steps needed for greater progress toward the highest test scores.

***A third session has been added! It will be held on November 4 - 8th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sign up now!***
Brighton High School Class of 2O25 students! Writing Your College Application Essay classes meet at BHS from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday the week of October October 21st. Class size is a maximum of twelve students and the class fee is $110. Students will read and critique model essays, be provided with written feedback on work, have one to one conference time with the instructor and complete at least one full essay by the end of the week. Listen, learn, write, conference, edit and complete a full essay in just five days!
