Raider Pride Band Takes First Division at Regionals

Congratulations to the Sunnyvale High School Raider Pride Marching Band!

They competed in the 2024 Region 3 UIL Marching Contest and earned a 1st Division Superior rating from all three judges. This means they advance to the Area Marching Contest on November 2nd at Lindale Eagle Stadium!

The band appreciates all of the support from everyone - including our Administration, Parents, Football team and Cheerleaders!

Next stop: Area!

Max's Touchdown

Last week, middle school football player Max Beauchamp's dream of making a touchdown finally came true.

Although this may seem like a fairly ordinary dream for some students (and for the students' families), this was a BIG DREAM for Max.

You see, Max is a bit small in stature (especially compared to friends his age). But he has a BIG HEART. One of Max's closest friends since kindergarten created a play just for Max called the "Champ's Special."

And so, when it was time, Max (wearing #16 to memorialize his baby brother, Russell, who passed away in 2016), he ran the ball in for a TD!

Raider Football is doing more than scoring points! It's about building champions and building men.

Way to go, Max and friends!
