Navigating 504s
Comprehensive Guidance for School Teams
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training & Consultation Team for this In Person Training.
Join us for a focused professional development session to craft a streamlined Chapter 504 process. Tailored for school district teams which may include 504 administrators, coordinators, and other vested partners, this session covers legal history, eligibility, service agreements, LEA responsibilities, and current trends. Together, we'll design an efficient process for conducting, evaluating, implementing, and progress monitoring 504 plans.
Intended Audience:
Principals, special education liaisons, school counselors, school psychologists, social workers, other building and district level administrators
Participant Information:
- This training will be offered twice. Please register for only one session.
- 5 (five) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training.
There is no cost to attend this training.
Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
