Eastview Update

Bike to School Week will be May 28-31. Please think about riding your bike with your child that week. Please park your child’s bike in the designated grade level section. We will have signs posted by grade level that week. Students riding a bike will start being dismissed at 3:15 pm. so that we can help get the students riding bikes out safely.

Please Remember:

1. We ask that everyone wear a helmet.

2. We will park bikes in the front of the school. There will be signs posted separating grade levels.

3. We ask that you use all official crosswalks to cross Lear Road.

4. Bikes must be walked when entering school property.

5. Bikes should not be walked between parked cars, moving cars, or in front or behind buses.

6. Biker riders will be dismissed at 3:15 pm.

We are still waiting on Inview results from the company. They are scheduled to be completed later this week. The company that makes the assessment, encountered some errors but they have fixed them now.

We will have our Bridging Ceremony on Tuesday, June 4th at 1:45 pm. The current plan is to have all parents gather in the front lawn area in front of the Eastview sign. We will have the bridge set up on the sidewalk in front of the 3rd grade doors. The ceremony will be very brief, so there will not be any seating set up. We ask that you stand up front, as you will be moving along with your child’s class. I will be calling students’ names as they cross the bridge, where they will be greeted by their homeroom teacher. Once all the students have been called in the class, they will follow the path down where they will gather for a class picture.

To view your student’s classroom teacher for the 2024/2025 school year, please log into your student’s PowerSchool account on or anytime after August 9th. The teacher is listed under the homeroom tab. This process is for all students returning to Eastview next year.
