Parent-Teacher Conferences

Just a reminder...Meet the Teacher is now open!!!

A few things to note:

• “Meet the Teacher” opened to parents Monday, September 30th, 8:00AM through Monday, October 7th at midnight. Please click HERE to schedule your Parent-Teacher Conference.

• Conferences are Wednesday, October 16th, 3:30-7:30 PM (C.I. teachers will have team conferences all day) and Thursday, October 17th, 1:00-7:00 PM. There is no school for students on Thursday.

We will be using Meet the Teacher , the online booking platform, for parents to create their personalized conference schedule. Meet the Teacher will be open for parents from 8:00am Monday, September 30th, until Midnight on Monday, October 7th. Appointments book up quickly so please sign up early for best availability! This is a great opportunity to sit down and speak with your child's teacher!

Choose Your Own Adventure Fall Fest!

Join us Friday October 11th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Rose for a unique adventure. Explore the school and choose from a wide variety of activities for all ages of elementary school kids. We’ll have basketball, dance, STEM and karate clinics to participate in. You can also get crafty, have your face painted, play bags and more. Come hungry so you can take advantage of the delicious food trucks including, Tandoori Wheels Indian Cuisine and Reps BBQ Truck. There will be options to satisfy your sweet tooth too! This is not a drop-off event. A parent/guardian must accompany each child.

Pre-Sale Tickets are $25 per student which includes all activities!! Purchase your pre-sale ticket today and be entered to win passes to visit Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm! Goodie bags are guaranteed for all pre-sale purchasers - be sure to buy your tickets today! Pre-Sale ends October 4th Tickets will be an additional $10 at the door. Parents and younger siblings are free of charge. Food and drinks available for purchase - cash encouraged.

While many of our activities will be available throughout the night for students and families to enjoy, clinic space is limited and will require registration.

Clinics will follow the below schedule. Clinic sign-ups will be sent to all families who have purchased pre-sale tickets on Monday, October 7th. Limited spaces will be available for on-site clinic registration so be sure to purchase your pre-sale tickets for the best availability!

Rose PTO is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Scarecrow Contest in conjunction with Family Fall Fest! This event is open to any and all students, staff, and families in the Rose community. There is no cost to enter, but you are responsible for your scarecrow material cost. We hope to foster a fun, creative contest to grow our student body…one scarecrow at a time!

Register by October 4th to participate! Scarecrow submissions must be delivered to the school by October 7th. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 scarecrows with the most votes collected before Family Fall Fest.

As part of Family Fall Fest, the Rose PTO will be hosting a bake sale during the event. We are asking for store bought donations. Donations can be dropped off between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Friday, October 11th at Rose’s front office. Please label your donation and specify if it contains nuts. Items that can be split into small packages work best, but we welcome all donations. Sign up here to donate. Thank you for your contribution!

Party Fees, Winter Outing and Yearbook fees can be paid online from now until October 15th. Breakdown of the fees are as follows:

We are in need of parent volunteers for the Rose Buck Redemption Day on Wednesday, October 16th. Volunteers will visit each grade level pod and help students redeem their Rose Bucks for prizes.

A HUGE thank you to the Homecoming Parade Float Committee: Doug and Candace Tabor, Chris and Michelle Vanderslik, Matt and Malini Moraghan, Suhail and Anita Kochar and Tom and Sharon Bellock for creating an “Out of this World” float. We also want to give shout outs to Petrina Wimer (Graphic Design) and Ashish and Alpina Patel (Banner Printing) for their support.

The parade wouldn’t have been as successful without the enthusiasm, generosity and creativity of each parade walker, candy/trinket donator and student who submitted an astronaut helmet.
