Event Information

Merrymead Farm

We are excited to announce our first field trip of this school year! We are going to the Merrymead Farm! Please read below for details about this trip:

Eligible criteria to attend all school trips this year are 90% attendance with passing grades in all courses.


  • We will arrive to the farm at 10am and stay until approximately 12:45pm.
  • This trip is free to all students signed up to attend; however, we only have 25 tickets available.
  • All students are required to ride the school bus.
  • The bus will leave Rivera, 2603 N 5th St Philadelphia, PA, at 9:15am SHARP.
  • The bus will arrive back to Rivera at 1:30pm. Parents should expect to arrive by 2pm at the latest for pick up.
  • Students must wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
  • Students are allowed to bring cell phones with them but they are responsible for their own devices.
  • Adults that are picking up/dropping off students to the farm must show valid ID to staff members.
  • This year, parents are unable to attend trips to allow students to get to know staff and other peers.
  • Students will need a packed lunch. Students who need a lunch provided will be given one.
  • In case of emergencies, we will have the district cell phone available: (267) 918-3480

Attendance: Students must attend Morning Meeting every day at 8:30 to be counted as present.

If absent with an excusable reason, complete the Google form.

Adult/Coach: Please make sure that an adult is available to support your student during school hours due to our student's ages (K-5). This helps to help them stay on track.
