Character Counts at Green!

Students are nominated by a school staff member for exemplifying our trait of the month. They earn a brag tag and their picture on social media. Congratulations to the following students for showing honesty during the month of April:

Family Food Pantry

Our last Family School Pantry will be Thursday, May 15 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. as a drive-through at the back of John R. Wooden Middle School. Families should enter the school's one-way road off of Sycamore Street. A volunteer will write down a few pieces of information and then offer a variety of items. These items will then be placed in your vehicle.

Clinic Minutes

Medications will be sent home with students on the last day of school if parents indicated this on the form. If the release was not provided, parents can call Mrs. Jones to give verbal approval. All other medications will need to be picked up from the clinic by a parent or guardian.

Office News

Proof of residency and birth certificates must be on file in a student's PRC. If you received a notice that this is missing, please send the forms in ASAP. Contact Mrs. Schoening at the office for more information.

Awards, Awards, and More Awards!

4th grade Honors Night is Thursday, May 15 at 6:00. All other awards will be presented during school on Thursday, May 22 in the gym. We will use the following schedule:

9:00-9:45 Pre-Kindergarten

9:50-10:10 1st Grade

10:15-10:35 2nd Grade

10:40-11:00 3rd Grade

11:05-11:20 Kindergarten

WE NEED YOU!

Our last PTO meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, May 7 after school in the Media Center. We will discuss field day, end of the year activities, and elect new officers. If you are unable to attend but want to provide input, contact a PTO officer by emailing at greentwp.pto@gmail.com.
