March 23 - April 2 (Spring Break Edition)
Principal's Message
We had such a busy Friday to wrap up our week before we started Spring Break! Some students learned about Ukrainian culture, had a pizza party for how great their class average was on their math test, learned about healthy eating habits, practiced their handball skills, and topped it off with an Easter Egg Hunt!
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend parent/ teacher interviews. It provides an excellent opportunity for your child's teacher and you to connect regarding their academics and social skills.
As I am starting to plan for next year, I am looking for someone who might be interested in a running a before and afterschool care program out of NCS. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please have them reach out to the school.
As a reminder to everyone, if you are picking up your child between 4:00 and 4:30, there is a transfer bus that needs the bus lane. Please only park on the grass side of the bus lane. Thank you!
Hour Zero, which is a portal that provides emergency resources and supports such as videos on division safety policies is accessible to parents now. I have included the link below for you to create an account if you would like.
I hope that you and your family have an excellent spring break filled with sunshine and laughter so that everyone comes back well rested and ready for the final three months of the school year.
Enjoy the break and I will see everyone on April 3, 2024, when school resumes,
Bailey Benson

Students from the K/1 class and the 2/3 class were together today for a lesson on Ukrainian culture and Pysanky which is decorating Easter Eggs.
