"Where it's always a great day to be a Bison!"
A Note from Ms. Marlatt
Welcome April, and hopefully more seasonal spring weather! It is hard to believe we are in April, and the last stretch of the school year. Please read on as we share information about CMAS, Spring Carnival and more.
Is attendance still important as we get close to the end of the year? YES! Every day counts. Every minute counts! Let's make April a month to remember, and increase our student attendance. As of our last count, only about 56.1% of our students stay in school 90% of the day. This is not good at all. We count on you - families - to make sure students are at school on time (7:30 for breakfast and 7:45 for instruction). When your student is not at school, your student is not learning. You might not see the affects of this right away, but absences add up to leaning gaps that are hard to fill. We are ready to partner with you! let us know if you need help making sure your students are at school, on time, everyday.
Please join me in congratulating our Gratitude Parade nominees. What a wonderful group of grateful Bison! The parade is shared with you below.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!

PTO Spring Carnival - April 14th - 5:30pm to 7:30pm
You have a choice of a $4 entry that includes food or a $2 entry fee that allows you to buy food separately. We hope to see all of our Bison families there!
“Did you know that our PTO gives $10 per students for field trips every year. This makes it possible and affordable for our students to go do something fun every year. This year the district has asked them to provide transportation to those field trips as well. They are happy to provide this for this kids, but are also looking for ways to supplement some of these costs. They have have come up with a fun raffle idea that we hope you will all participate in.”

CMAS Testing starts next week!
All students in 3rd grade to 5th grade will be taking CMAS.
In order for your student to have the best possible experience during state testing, we ask that you:- Arrive in time every day. If your student is not here when we start testing, he/she won't be allowed inside the classroom until that test session is finished. This is state law. Please make sure students arrive at 7:45am, unless they come for breakfast (staring at 7:30 am by using the side lunchroom doors).
- Make sure your student goes to bed early the night before and is rested.
- Discuss the testing opportunity and encourage your student to do his/her best.
The testing schedule is HERE.
