Fall for Ross

Thank you to the 33 supporters who have given to our school's annual fundraising drive! We're almost 30% of our way to our $50,000 goal. Your support is critical to the operation of the school, since most of the money raised by the PTA goes directly to the school's operating costs, including teacher/staff training and classroom support, curricular supplies, books, some field trip costs--and much more. Please consider giving a contribution to Fall for Ross today.

The PTA spends more than $100,000 every year on your kids' Ross education. This allows the principal to direct most of her budget to personnel costs. When the school needs to restock the school library or buy paper towels, hand sanitizer, mops and uniforms for our custodial staff, enrichment and other curricular materials, iPads, or anything else to help the school function and elevate your child's educational experience ... the PTA covers these costs, through your support. When physical education was briefly interrupted last year, the PTA covered the costs of a substitute PE teacher when the district could not respond quickly enough.

We encourage families to consider a tax-deductible financial donation of $50/month ($600 annually) so the PTA can continue funding school operating costs and continue its programs. Please give as you’re able. Small or large, every donation is important and contributes to improving the learning environment for every student at Ross. New this year: You can give using a variety of payment platforms, including Google Pay, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, bank transfer and donor-advised fund.

The class with the highest percentage of participation will win a 🍧 popsicle party 🍧! Please give today! The website does not yet reflect class participation, but PK4 and 2nd are in the lead!

Each year, the PTA aims to raise $175,000 - and spends most of it in a single school year. If the PTA doesn’t reach its fundraising goal, it will reduce spending on the school’s operating costs, curriculum and teacher/staff support, as well as on events and activities that make our community a fun place to learn and live. If we don't raise enough to support the school, this could cause the principal to hire fewer staff/teachers.

The PTA runs three main, and several smaller, fundraisers to reach our fundraising goals: 1) Fall for Ross, 2) the tree and bake sale in the winter, and 3) the Ross Auction in March.

We're almost 30% of the way to our Fall for Ross goal. Please help us reach $50,000!
