Join us at OPEN HOUSE on March 22nd 1-3 pm! We will be opening the day school to the public so they can get to know us better and register for Preschool. All our current families are invited to join us for games, face paint and fun!

Ash Wednesday- March 5th @ 7 pm

We are now open for families to register for Fall Preschool 2025! Your child must be 3 years old by Sept 1 and potty trained to start preschool. We have classes for 3 years old and 4 years old. Our 3-year-olds have class from 8:30-12 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our 4-year-olds have a half day or full day option. Full day is recommended for kindergarten readiness!

We are also open for registration for our School Age Summer Program! This is for those who have already attended Kindergarten and up to 12 years old. We have a themed program with water days, community garden care and library trips sprinkled in. Program hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Food Pantry, Snack Pack Program, Cory Closet...

I am so blessed to be working with the children and staff at PDS. I decided a while ago to take on the challenge of working with preschool children. I prayed to find a Christian based preschool and one day I found the Day School on Indeed. I am just so happy to be teaching little minds about God's love. I love seeing the progress in me and them as I do so.

My name is Joanna but I prefer Joey. I grew up in New Brighton and went to NB High School, graduating in 1996. I went to CCBC and Slippery Rock University getting my associates in early childhood and Elementary Education. I have done everything from babysitting, summer YMCA, childcare at YMCA to head start programs. I also worked with teens when I was a band mom. My children are Lee, 25 and Lynzey 23. I am grandma to Robert, 4 and Sophia 3. These four are my world. I can't forget to add that I am a single cat lady. I have three cats Anakin, Padmae and Nola. I love them very much. I am convinced that Anakin is my soulmate. I love purple and Prince (the artist). I am a beginner photographer. Another fun fact about me is that I have one kidney! In 2014 I donated one to my aunt who raised me.

I am so blessed to be working with your children at PDS and the relationships I am developing can never be replaced. Thank you for giving me a chance to love and teach your children.

Two things have happened recently to support early childcare!

The subsidy program for families CCW now reimburses providers at 75%, previously 60%. This means providers get more of the fee back supporting quality care.

Governor Shapiro announced a $55 million investment in early childcare staff retention! This is a great start to the conversation.
