Link Crew's 11th Annual Back 2 Zoo Bash is just around the corner on our minimum day next Friday 9/20 from 12:30-2:30 PM! Admission is FREE for all freshmen with Link Crew Cards, but if you don't have a card, you can purchase your ticket in advance at the student store for $12. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15. Soak in the fun with inflatables, face painting, carnival games, and more. Don't miss the water balloon toss, watermelon contest, and dunk tank w/teachers! Food includes pizza, shaved ice, and cotton candy. See you there!!🤙🌺

Culinary Arts is off to a running start. We are breakfast experts when it comes to pancakes and waffles! Our knives skills are improving daily, as evidenced by our carrot cake cupcakes and delicious salsa! Coming soon: homemade pasta, potato week, cookies, and so much more!
COLLEGE CAREER CENTER
COLLEGE REP VISITS
College Career Center welcomes Juniors and Seniors to attend in-person College Rep Visits which continue through October in the CCC. The following colleges are just a few that have a scheduled visit this week: University of Colorado Boulder, Southern Methodist, TCU, UCSB, etc. A full schedule is available on SchooLinks and all students MUST have a signed Teacher Permission Slip turned in 24 hours prior to the event to attend (even if they do not have a class during the time of meeting). Instructions on how to sign up to attend, and to access the Teacher Permission Slip can be found here https://pvphs.pvpusd.net/apps/pages/CCC-CollegeRepVisits Colleges are still in the process of signing up for times to visit Peninsula so make sure you check back regularly. All Rep visits are students only.
UC APPLICATION WORKSHOP
Class of 2025 come to the CCC on Thursday, September 20th during lunch for assistance in completing the Academic History and Activities & Awards on the UC Application. Get your UC application set up before you attend and bring all your questions about completing these areas.
COLLEGE TESTING Q&A
Parents are invited to a Q & A session about college testing on Saturday, September 21st in the CCC from 9:15A to 10:30A. Torsten Sannar National Managing Director of Compass Prep will be here to answer your questions.

INFORMATION & ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE DISTRICT
Students will continue to eat for FREE this year! PVPHS Food Services will offer both breakfast (snack) and lunch to all students.
That said, the District strongly encourage parents who qualify to still apply for free and reduced meals. Students who qualify could be entitled to additional benefits including:
- Reduced fees on standardized testing
- Discounted summer school fees
- Summer EBT for kids
- Possible reduction on utilities
