Thank you to everyone who attended our Readiness Days in August. We are always trying to grow and improve. To help us improve Readiness Days for next year, we are asking that you complete our survey. On October 26th, Juniors have the opportunity to participate in PSAT testing. The PSAT is being offered to Juniors who want to take the test. Juniors will be required to sign up through their school counselor or via QR codes posted around campus by September 15th.

The PSAT connects students to more than $235 million in scholarship opportunities, including the National Merit Scholarship Program. The PSAT is also excellent practice for the SAT and can help identify Advanced Placement courses your child is ready to take. Central Texas College (CTC) has partnered with KISD to offer High School Equivalency and English as a Second Language classes. The classes are free, but CTC registration is required. See the flyers for registration information, dates, and locations.

Our Homecoming dance, A Knight in Paris, will be on September 16. Tickets are now available. If a student would like to bring a guest that does NOT attend Harker Heights, they will need to fill out a guest contract. These are available in the Student Activities Office. Students can also download a copy from their Schoology Student Activities page. Forms are due back by 4:00 pm on September 13.
