🤕A Note From the Nurse😷
Happy New Year! If your child requires medication during the school day, please note that a specific medication administration request form is required to be completed by the physician and parent, along with specific directions. This must be provided to the school nurse before medication can be administered. The medication administration request form can be obtained by reaching out to the school nurse.
- Parents MUST bring medications to school in the original container, with the current prescription label clearly visible. Please do not send medication to the school with your child.
- All medications (even over the counter medications) require a written physician’s order.
- Students are NOT permitted to carry medications with them.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. If you have any question, or concerns you may have about your student’s health. The best way to contact me is by email: irasema.shnowski@visd.net or by phone: (361) 573-7453
