Festival Theatre Presents "Heck" an Original Musical Comedy
October 11th-27th
Heck is full of magic, puppetry, original music, and artists from all over the country. This original musical comedy runs October 11th-27th in the newly renovated and restored Historic Auditorium of St. Croix Fallls. Tickets are $30 and cn be reserved at festivaltheatre.org

October 18th! Circle the date! If you're retired or thinking about it plan to attend the free Age Well Expo on October 18th from 9am-1pm at the Chisago Lakes High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Lindstrom. Everyone- especially those who are retired, preparing to retire, or who care for elderly loved ones- is invited to attend the free event hosted by the Chisago Age Well Coalition and Chisago Lakes Community Education.
Keynote Speaker: Stever Hoover, PhD, with Central Minnesota Council on Aging. He will be speaking on "How to Flourish in Second Half of Life". Hoover encourages oler adults to identitfy and use their personal strengths to lead a more fulfilling life. He invites people to go to this website for a free assessment of personal strengths. New this year! Bring questions about using our cell phone, tablet, or laptop to the new Tech Talk Table. No question is too small for these local experts. Learn how to store and find photos, use QR codes, block spam, save files, clean out clutter, spot fraud, or get answers to other technical questions you have. (No mechanical repairs can be provided; information only.)

Pleasant Valley Orchard
The fall apple season is underway at Pleasant Valley Orchard! Fresh apples daily in our store or pick-your-own apples on weekends only. Daily Hours: 10 am to 6 pm.
Weekend Activities:
Pick-Your-Own Apples. Offered on weekends only, select varieties while supplies last. For updates on apple varieties available call our hotline at 651-257-9159 for a recorded message.
Pleasant Valley Food Trailer. Our food trailer serves up yummy apple donuts, apple brats and apple cider slushies.
Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch. Starting October 4th. Catch a hayride and pick-your-own pumpkin, while supplies last. Hayrides drop you off in the patch; and will circle back and pick you and your pumpkin up. Tickets: $6.00 per person; 3 and under free.
Spooky Storytime. October 18. Join Minnesota author Trisha Speed Shaken for kids story time. Trisha will read her book the “Itty Bitty Witch.” Story times are 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.
Harvest Pop-Up. October 19. Time: 12:30 – 4 pm. Join us for a harvest pop-up event with a few select vendors targeted towards women and girls. Join BKS Designs to design your own purse or bag. Using recycled materials, you can choose a bag style and fabric for yourself, friends and family!
12 days of Halloween at the Orchard: Oct.19th-30th Spooktacular celebration with special events, activities and daily special sales the twelve days before Halloween! Events include spooky story time for the kids, kids’ scavenger hunt and prizes, and pumpkin baking contest! Celebrate the Halloween Season with us!
