Centennial Campaign Update

Dear SVDP Community,

We are thrilled to share an update on the Centennial Campaign.

Since our outreach in mid-October, the school families, alumni, parishioners, and friends of SVDP have generously donated or pledged over $1.3 million, bringing the total funds raised to date by the Centennial Campaign to over $7.1 million! We have now raised enough to seek final project approval and secure a line of credit from the Archdiocese for remaining costs.

This is an incredible milestone that speaks to the unwavering care, dedication, and spirit of giving that is the backbone of our SVDP Community. In just a few short weeks, you have enthusiastically answered the call (both literally and figuratively) and are making the Elevated Sport Court a reality for generations to come. We could not be more proud to call SVDP home!

We’d like to recognize and thank our Centennial Campaign Committee and our Construction Committee. These families have volunteered to help shape the campaign, engage our community, and share feedback through countless events, phone calls, emails, texts, and appeals at Mass. This collective effort has enabled a project that everyone in SVDP is a part of, and that we are accomplishing together.

As we progress to the next phase of the campaign, our focus now is to fully fund our efforts without needing a line of credit—one that would require repayment over five years to the Archdiocese. Let’s keep our momentum going so we can complete this project and make a lasting impact, debt-free!

Construction planning is continuing to move forward in collaboration with BuildGroup and the Archdiocese. We anticipate finalizing project timelines and potential cost savings opportunities in the next month and will continue to keep the SVDP community informed on progress.
