Warrior Weekly News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
September 20, 2024
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
This past week is the first week that school felt a bit "normal" as students get into the routines of school. Yet students continue to shine in so many ways daily. Whether it is in greeting staff in the hallways, showing kindness toward each other at lunch by inviting a student to join their table, or helping a student with math. I had a chance to speak with our AVID 9 students this week as they worked on better understanding the Warriors Way and what it means to act with integrity, pride, respect, humility, and responsibility. These students shared great insights on what each of those words mean to them. Additionally, they shared how our student leaders and upperclassmen show them across our school. It was a great conversation. Our Warriors shine brightly, indeed.
This past Wednesday was the Warriors' Welcome in which families get to walk their student(s)'s schedule and learn a bit about each of the classes. It was a joy to meet parents in the hallways (and help them get to "class" on time) as they learned about what we do at Muskego High. I also had a chance to share with families some of the great things we do at MHS. Our building priorities are Student Achievement, Student Culture, Staff Engagement, and Parent Partnership. Know that we value the role that you play everyday with your student. Let us know if you ever have a question or concern and we can work together to help your student grow to be their best self.
Have an amazing weekend and enjoy what is left of this unseasonably warm weather.
Go, Warriors!
