Football Playoffs Gadsden vs Los Alamos
NjROTC
For the 1st time ever, a Gadsden NjROTC 8th grsade team competed with our GHS NjROTC.The Gadsden NJROTC Competition team and an 8th Grade Competition team competed in the Stars and Stripes Skills meet at Socorro High School in El Paso on Saturday. The Competition team took 1st Place Overall and qualified for the Area 20 Championship in Tucson in February! The 8th Graders who were the only 8th grade team competing against all high school NJROTC teams took 3rd Place in Physical Fitness and had the top male in overall sit-ups! It was a great Gadsden day! The overall results are as follows:

GADSDEN FFA HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE PART OF THE SANTA TERESA LIVESTOCK AUCTION
THIS IS THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION IN THE UNITED STATES. THEY SPECIALIZE IN STOCKER AND FEEDER CATTLE COMING FROM MEXICO.
THEY ARE PRODUCER OWNED; BUT THE AUCTION RUNS UNDER A CONCESSION AGREEMENT RUN BY EXPERIENCED AMERICAN OPERATORS.
BUSINESS IS DONE JUST LIKE YOU ARE ACUSTOMED AT HOME. ALL CATTLE ARE ON THE AMERICAN SIDE AND HAVE PASSED RIGOROUS HEALTH INSPECTIONS BY MEXICAN OFICIALS AS WELL AS THE USDA.
DANIKA WRAPPED UP THE NIGHT BY RECITING THE FFA CREED FOR ALL 33 COMPETITORS AND EVERYONE IN ATTENDANCE.
Gadsden Cyber Security
CyberPatriot is a national youth cyber education program created in the United States to help direct students toward careers in cybersecurity or other computer, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines. The program was created by the Air Force Association (AFA). It features the annual National Youth Cyber Defense Competition for high and middle school students.
