HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
SCHOOL BUS STORAGE POTENTIALLY MOVING TO MULREADY This past Tuesday many Mulready families attended the School Committee meeting and a few bravely voiced their concerns to the committee regarding the potential relocation of the school bus storage of all Hudson Public School buses in Mulready’s backyard. Here is a link to the meeting https://vimeo.com/showcase/9964109?video=893943783 The concerns over this project are many as you can see watching the video. We wanted to say a special thank you to Sara Frost, Michelle Petersen, Brian White, Elizabeth Maienza, Liz Carpenter, and Zach Maule for speaking up on behalf of our Ohana. We encourage parents to help us bring attention to the town representatives at the next Select Board Meeting. SAVE THE DATE: SELECT BOARD MEETING JANUARY 22ND If you would like to voice concern over this project please consider attending or speaking at the Select Board Meeting on Monday, January 22nd at 7pm at the Hudson Police Station Community Room 911 Municipal Drive. If you would like to speak at the meeting you must make a request to the board by emailing tgregory@townofhudson.org by 12pm Wednesday January 17th. BINGO NIGHT & VALENTINES FOR VETERANS Please join us Friday, February 2nd from 6:30 - 8 p.m. for Bingo Night! For those in our Ohana who haven't had the pleasure of experiencing a Mulready Bingo Night, it's a totally FREE event for Mulready families to have fun playing Bingo with friends. Every player gets a Bingo card and lots of chances to pick a prize from the prize table. We will also have some fun guest callers! This year we will also set up a crafting station to make Valentine Cards for Veterans. Send our vets a special message and show them some love! FRIDAY SCIENTISTS
Each Friday a student in Mrs. Calvanese's classroom perform an experiment. This week, a boy performed an experiment called Rainbow Rain. He put oil in a cup and water with drops of food coloring in the other cups. Next, the boy dropped some of the colored water into the oil. The oil did not mix with the water. The chemical bonds of oil and water do not allow them to mix. And, because water is more dense than oil, the water settled to the bottom of the oil layer.
Superbowl is coming Feb. 11th - Get your pizza for game day! - Hudson High Fundraiser
Starting today and for the next 4 weeks, Hudson High Home & School is selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits to raise money to support student curriculum and events. To reach our goal, we need everyone’s help. We wanted to share this with our community, because who doesn’t love pizza? It’s super easy to participate and help us raise some dough!
To get started, follow this link to check out the delicious kits. There are pizza kits, breadsticks, cookies and even a Gluten Free option. Order now and receive it in time to cook on Superbowl day, or whenever you like.
Pizza Kits will be delivered directly to your home by FedEx, so feel free to share the link with others across the country, too. Every kit sold earns $6 profit for Hudson High Home & School and makes an impact. So, get yours today!

NEW AND UPDATED DROP-OFF/PICK-UP PROCEDURES
RECYCLING INK CARTRIDGES
The Kindergarten and 1st grade Girl Scouts are doing a recycling project and want to recycle your empty printer ink cartridges. A collection box will be located inside Mulready Elementary School from December to March. Their goal is to keep 200 cartridges from decaying and leaking toxins in landfills, thank you for helping them with their goal.
RECESS IN THE SNOW
If there is snow arounf the play structure and on the field, only children who come with snow pants and boots will be allowed to play in those areas.
SPECIAL NOTE IF SCHOOL IS DELAYED THIS WINTER
If there is a 2-hour delay at any time this winter, school will start exactly 2 hours after the regular start time. School starts at 8:35. A 2-hour delay means that school will start at 10:35. If your child takes a bus, pick-up will be two hours later than your ordinary pick-up time. Drop-off will begin at 10:20 am (which is 2 hours later than the normal 8:20 drop-off).
ABSENTEE LINE/TARDIES
Just a reminder - please be sure to call your child out when they will not be in school. (978) 567-6170. You can leave a message on the absentee line. Also, if your child enters the building late, after 8:35 am, he/she should have a parent with them to sign them in. Thank you!
LABEL LUNCH BOXES AND CLOTHING
Please label your child's belongings. That way we can be sure that the items get back to their owners.
Also, if your child is missing clothing or a backpack or lunchbox, feel free to stop by and check out our tables.
