We are excited to see over 65 cast and crew perform in 13 Jr. this month! Show tickets are on sale now!

13 Jr. Cast, Crew, and Parents, please read the important reminders below and sign up to donate or volunteer. It takes many hands behind the scenes to help create the magic on stage!

We will be placing a big Fall Spiritwear Order soon and invite you to check out our new 24-25 gear as well as our online store (links below). Orders are due September 15th.

October will prove to be a busy month as well with Jekyll and Hyde Cast and Crew competing at the Georgia Theatre Conference on October 17 (tentative) and at the Region One Act on October 30. Information about registration / fees are included below.

We will also host our Fall Chorus Concert on October 3rd at 7pm at the Denmark Theater. We hope to see all of you there!

NEED 2 Meat Lasagnas; 1 Speciality Dish; 1 GF Pasta; 4 Italian Bread Loaves; 3 Garlic Bread Loaves; 2 Desserts for 12 people; 2 -24-pack water bottles

We need concession donations

NEED 18 more to donate snacks, drinks, candy, etc.

We need volunteers for the shows

REMINDERS:

Cast fees must be paid - NEED 26 MORE PAYMENTS

Tech fees must be paid - All tech crew (this payment covers the entire fall semester) - NEED 11 MORE PAYMENTS

All-State Audition Deadline is September 10!

Honor Chorus Audition Deadline is September 3rd!

These choirs are great opportunities to learn and grow as a performer - and they are so fun!!

Also, if you have not paid for your chorus uniform please do so asap on the Denmark Performing Arts website! We need everyone to pay for theirs so that we can make sure everyone has them before our Fall Concert on October 3! www.denmarkperformingarts.com/payments

The Jekyll and Hyde cast and crew will proudly compete in the R. Lynn Woody Festival at the Georgia Theatre Conference being held in Gainesville, GA October 16-19. We have requested Thursday, October 17 to perform due to the PSAT on October 18. Secondary Festival Awards will be Friday, October 18 in the evening. Transportation will be provided on performance day. More information will be provided by Mr. Grizzle as we get closer to the event date.

Student Registration is $45 and can be paid online. Payment is due by October 1. Click HERE to pay. Scroll to Competition and Travel Fees. Parents can also purchase a one-day pass to view the performances for $15.

DPA will be heading to Thescon February 6-8, 2025. This is Georgia's largest gathering of Thespians and three days of shows, workshops, and fun located in Columbus, GA! Mr. Grizzle will be sharing more information to students in class. This is an event for inducted Thespians only (typically 10-12).

The cost of attending will be split into two payments:

1) $150 Registration Fee (due October 1)

2) Transportation and Lodging (to be determined avg. $300)

The next Disney Payment is due October 1. Payments made after October 5th will incur a late fee.

We now have two ways to pay . . . Zelle (no fee) and PayPal (convenience fee). Go to the Thespian Tours website to get the latest updates.

Patrons provide DPA with resources to provide the highest quality learning experience for Theater, Chorus, and Acting students of Troupe 8720.

Patrons help fund:

• Theater equipment - lighting, sound, projectors, cameras, streaming equipment, etc.

• Costumes and Set Construction

• Scholarships for Troupe Members

Families, Community Members, or Businesses may choose to:

• Make monetary donations (4 giving levels below)
• Sponsor a Rehearsal $50

Patrons are granted show tickets (based on level of giving), early access to shows, and will receive a Patron Magnet in the mail with your donation letter.

All donations are tax-deductible as Denmark Parents of Performing Arts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Each pass grants you tickets for each of our Main Stage Productions and 20% off any of our acting shows.

Season Pass Holders will also be granted early access to the theatre. Each pass will come with a lanyard to present at at the Season Pass Table.

Four Ticket Passes are $55 each ($5 savings) and NEW Eight Ticket Passes are $110 ($10 Savings). Passes will be available for purchase online or at the Box Office and can be picked up at the Season Pass Table in the Lobby.
