Principal Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Any week that ends in chocolate, nice notes and students enjoying themselves is a positive week.
Students returned from the cold and snowy no busses days to a beehive of activity. Archery, a 5/6 Anti Bullying presentation and Valentines day were just the highlights.
Tuesday, our School Council volunteers put on a fruit salad lunch, in which students got to choose what they wanted from a selection of fresh fruit. This is always a hit but takes a ton of work by our very appreciated volunteers. We also had our School Council meeting that evening.
Wednesday's Anti Bullying presentation at Grand Trunk School was well received, we are working on bringing in something focused on our younger students.
Friday, we wrapped up with lots of pink, and red. Students, both learning and enjoying some crafts.
Next week we have Monday off for family day. On Thursday our grade 4s will be helping with a tea for the seniors. And on Friday our 3/4 class has a presentation on the history of the North West Mounted Police. Mr. Brophy will also be starting in 5/6, we want to say a big thank you to Mrs. Kozyra for making sure our 5/6s were learning and enjoying class over the last two weeks.
For those who have a chance to visit our school take a look at the old class composites that have been hung around the building. The pictures go back to the 1989-1990 school year. Several had broken glass and will be fixed in the coming weeks prior to hanging.
If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach out to the school through the office or email me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.
Sincerely,
Alan Stoyles
Principal

Working Across Schools: A Message from Evansburg PAC.
Parents and Guardians of Wildwood School, I am reaching out to see who might be interested in helping with our annual Grouch’s Ball. I am sure the news has spread that we will need to fundraise for a playground at the new school. Evansview PAC has decided that a portion of our profit we will be making a donation for the new playground. That being said, if you have free time April 25th to help assemble donated items and possibly help set up please reach out. Or possibly April 27th for take down. Please reach out by email! Also, please feel more than welcome to attend!! We would love to see more of the Wildwood community there to make it an ever bigger success! Thank you for your support!
