Over the past couple of weeks, our students have participated in Acadience testing for both math and reading. These assessments are a vital part of our efforts to understand and support your child's learning needs. By the end of the week, you should receive score reports that provide information on your child's performance. We are committed to ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed. To that end, we implement a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), which allows us to tailor the amount and type of instruction to meet each student's specific reading needs. Saline Area Schools is proud to launch the School and Family Partnership series for the 2024-25 school year. These sessions are designed cover a wide range of topics focused on helping students succeed within and beyond the classroom. The first session, held on Monday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Liberty School, will cover School Engagement Essentials. The Pleasant Ridge Spirit Shop is open now until 10/3! Show your PR pride with a soft Bella + Canvas t-shirt or a warm sweatshirt! Youth and adult sizes are available. Apparel will be delivered to school to bring home by 10/17. Check out the spirit wear options here!

Mark your calendars - our annual Fun Run will be Thursday, October 17th! Registration is easy and free! Donations will start 9/26 and be accepted through 10/31. Stay tuned for further details!

The cafeteria can always use extra hands to help direct the kids, open packages, and provide other general duties. Volunteers are welcomed for all lunch periods, but are especially helpful for Young 5s, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here.

Save the date! Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 8th at Pleasant Ridge in the Staff Lounge. We’ll have time for socializing at 7:00pm with meeting beginning at 7:30pm. All are welcome!
