Winners (one student from each grade level) will be announced December 13th.

β‘ IGNITE Update β‘
IGNITE students are busy learning new skills! 4th and 5th graders are mastering the art of coding robots, creating square patterns and using Loop blocks to repeat their code.
Next week, they'll dive into the world of conditionals, adding decision-making to their robot's actions. 2nd and 3rd graders are wrapping up their "All About Me" projects in Book Creator. Next week, they'll put their skills to the test by creating presentations to showcase their learning.
The youngest IGNITE students, Kindergarten and 1st graders, are building a strong foundation for future coding adventures. They're practicing typing skills on Typing Agent and learning essential drag-and-drop techniques.

Pine Brook Families, please check out the photos below to see if any of your Panther's items are in our lost and found. If you are able to identify an item that is your child's, call 966-4600 to let us know so we can get it back to the rightful owner. Items not claimed by first week of December will be donated.

β Level Up Capital Improvement Project Vote β
On Tuesday, December 10, Greece residents have the opportunity to vote on a capital improvement project designed to uplift Greece Central School District facilities. The proposal includes maintenance and improvement projects at every school and updated classroom and support spaces at a number of schools. If approved, the $72.55 million Level Up project will be funded by a combination of state building aid and existing capital reserve funds, meaning tax bills will not increase as a result of this project.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Transportation and Support Services Facility, 1790 Latta Road. You must be a registered voter and reside within the Greece Central School District to cast a ballot. For more information, visit the district website.

Who to Call With Questions is a Resource for Families
Building trust and ensuring that there are open lines of communication between home and school are essential for student success. We want to be sure you know who to contact with questions or concerns. In December, the district shared a new resource for families. In case you missed it, this linked Who to Call with Questions, Concerns and Compliments reference guide is a step-by-step guide families can use to ensure questions are answered quickly and effectively. Please refer to it whenever you need to speak to someone about your childβs progress. Whether your inquiry is about academics, safety, or services and supports, there are people at the school and district level who are ready to help whenever a question or concern arises.
