As a reminder, you can also order books months in advance by completing this form to "set it and forget it". Just let us know what unit, subject, topic, etc. you'll be covering from now until Januar,y and we'll deliver and pick them up according to your schedule. Don't worrry, you can always email us to make any changes.

We have two fabulous authors virtually visiting K-5 classes in February. Visit the Authors Showcase website for detailed information on how to register as well as requirements to participate. Each participating classroom will receive a book from the author.

Log into CaliforniaStreaming, select "Playlists" and see what's been curated by other teachers. Find Autumn, Indigineous Voices, Biomes, and more playlists or create your own to enhance your curriculum. Contact us for your username/password.

BookBreak is off to a great start! If you haven't had the opportunity to have students view an author visit, there are lots more authors coming soon! Cynthia Leitich Smith (author of Rain is Not My Indian Name ) will be presenting for middle schoolers on November 18th and Dawn Quigley (Jo Jo Makoons) on November 12th for elementary. These visits are recorded, so if you miss out on the live ones you can revisit the recordings.

Digital Photography Contest (K-12 AND Teachers) - California teacher are invited to submit teacher and student-produced digital photographs with a supporting caption realting to the 2025 contest theme: JOY. Submissions are due by Friday, March 7 2025.
