JumpRope Gradebook
We are looking forward to rolling out this tool this year to maintain communication with our families as well as provide targeted feedback to all scholars. There will be upcoming virtual and in person sessions to better understand the gradebook as well as how to sign into the jumprope portal. This information will be emailed out the week of September 1st.
The above diagram provides how our standards based grades are connected to traditional grades. You may be asking, why not just use traditional grades? Our standards based grades are directly connected to proficiency scales that our students have access to and explicitly show what a student needs to show and know to earn 2.5, 2.7, etc. JumpRope will allow our teachers to provide feedback and grades on indicators from day one of school that will directly translate to more traditional grades.
