A Message From Mike
Dear 109 Families,
As we conclude this school year, I want to extend my appreciation to each of you for your support and partnership. Raising children is not for the faint of heart, and we are ever mindful that we stand on your shoulders as a school community. Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and fostered an environment of learning and growth.
As we head into the summer break, I wish you all a restful time filled with fun, relaxation, and memorable moments. May this summer be a time to recharge and enjoy the company of your friends and family. I look forward to welcoming you back in the fall, ready for another exciting and productive school year.
Sincerely,
Michael V. Simeck
Superintendent of Schools

Are You Ready For Summer... In Terms of Device Safety?

Graduation Highlights
We had two wonderful evenings this week celebrating the Class of 2024 at both Caruso and Shepard! Congratulations to all of our graduates and best of luck next year at DHS! Below are some photos from each evening. We are putting the finishing touches on a graduation gallery that we will push out soon on the DPS 109 Facebook page and will email directly to graduating 8th grade families.
What's Good in 109? End of Year Fun!
Aside from graduation, there has been a LOT going on to wrap up the school year!
5th graders from Kipling & Walden went to Shepard today to learn all about what next year will be like!
Meanwhile, 5th graders at South Park & Wilmot did the same thing at Caruso last week, rotating between core classes to get used to the new art of passing periods.
Wilmot had a MEMORABLE all-school assembly where they competed in a game show full of trivia, Wilmot history, and academic questions!
Kipling 4th graders got to have a very chill Glow Day as a reward for their hard work!
Field day galore! Below are shots from South Park, Kipling, Wilmot, and Walden. Visit their Facebook pages to see more pictures!
