Greenbrook Gator Newsletter
Sept. 17, 2021
From Mr. G's Desk
Hello Gator Families,
Beginning on Monday, September 20th, we will be making some changes to our arrival procedures at Greenbrook. Our teachers are working with all our students today to inform them of the new procedures. Below is an outline of what it will look like starting on Monday.
- Doors will open at 8:25AM - Previously, doors have been opening at 8:15AM. Starting Monday, this time will be moved back to 8:25AM
- Students can still be dropped off at 8:15AM - Starting at 8:15AM, we will have staff outside (as we have had all year) to help check certification cards and supervise students. Students will now be asked to wait outside from 8:15-8:25AM. All students must wear a mask outside during this time as we cannot always ensure 6 feet of distancing.
- Students should not be dropped off/arrive before 8:15AM - We do not have staff to supervise students prior to 8:15AM, please do not drop them off until 8:15.
- Breakfast will be available from 8:15-8:25 - We will still provide free breakfast for all students from 8:15-8:25AM. Students who want breakfast must go to the main entrance (door 1) or the bus entrance (door 11). Students will be let in at 8:15 to go straight to breakfast.
- Inclement weather - In the event of inclement weather (rain or extreme cold) we will let all students into the school, directly to their classrooms, beginning at 8:15AM.
Car Riders - Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade students should all go to the front doors (Door 1 & 2). This is the same location they have been going to. 3rd, 4th & 5th graders will also continue to be dropped off at the same doors.
Bus Riders - Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd will enter through door 11. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will walk to their assigned grade level doors.
