So far this school year, only 66% of our Parkwood students, or 2 out of every 3 students, have attendance records that put them on-track for high school graduation. Our students need to be in school to access the content that our teachers work so hard to prepare each week. Please take a moment to review our Attendance Support Plan here. Parkwood Elementary is excited to be partnering with the Triangle YMCA to offer YLearning After School to 70 students this school year. The program is offered free of charge and is slated to start October 15th and run through mid-May. If you are interested in enrolling your student(s), please attend the upcoming drop-in orientation from 2:30-6:30pm this coming Thursday, October 10th. Staff will be available to support registration at this time.

The Parkwood PTA is hosting a virtual Fundraiser and we welcome you to join us in selling Double Good Popcorn to raise funds for our school. Each seller will be responsible for sharing their own custom link with colleagues, friends, and family.

This online Popcorn Fundraiser begins on Monday, October Monday, October 07, 2024 at 3:00 PM and will end on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
