HCHS Celebrates Hindu Heritage Month
Health Careers Pink Out Day
"Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you." -Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Senior, Tony DeRose, in partnership with Lizzie Reilly, followed this quote in organizing our school's Pink Out day. They came together in hopes to not only recognize the breast cancer survivors on campus, our very own Ms. Abney, Ms. Anguiano, Ms. Bedolla, Ms. Gonzalez, and Ms. Martinez, but also other women who have fought in the battle against breast cancer, like his mother, Briea DeRose, who passed in 2022, his freshman year. Tony celebrates his mother's life and fight by bringing awareness to the cause and helping other people on campus and around him know that they are supported by not only him, but also by the students and faculty of Health Careers High School.
