iReady Reports
iReady Reports will be sent home with students in Grades K-8 on Monday, January 27.
The i-Ready Assessment is an adaptive test that matches the difficulty of questions to each student's ability. The assessment starts each student at a difficulty level based on a best guess, including grade level. When a student gets answers right, the questions get harder; if a student selects incorrect answers, the questions get easier. It adapts to the ability of each student quickly and efficiently. The i-Ready Assessment identifies students’ strengths and weaknesses, while supporting data-driven differentiated instruction. It provides valid and reliable growth data, helping teachers track both yearly and long-term student progress. It does not replace daily instruction or curriculum. It is administered to students in grades K-8. Students take the screener three times during the school year - at the beginning, middle, and end.
Cold Weather
The below Child Care Weather Watch chart is used to determine weather-safety and if students can have outdoor recess. Please make sure your student has a coat and cold-weather appropriate clothing while waiting for the bus and for recess.

Food Services
The Ware Public Schools Food Service Department provides a comfortable and encouraging environment in which nutritious and wholesome meals are offered. A well-balanced diet is essential for growing children and teenagers, so we design each meal to include all major food groups. Our meals provide the nutrients students need to focus on academics and to perform their best.
Ware Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Monthly menus can be found on our website at https://www.wareps.org/for_parents/food_services
