Students participate in large group sessions led by a guest speaker and are then followed by small group sessions. Each small group consists of 10-12 students, 3 high school student leaders, and an adult leader. Check out the Snowflake website for more information.
Registration can be completed through Revtrak and will close on October 31st - do not miss your opportunity.
Referendum Community Information Meeting This Month
During the first half of 2024, more than 2,500 community members collaborated on a plan to continue to improve Barrington 220's aging school buildings. The final $64M community-driven plan will go to you, the voter, for approval as a referendum question on this November 5 election ballot. If successful, the referendum will:
- Increase safety & security throughout Barrington 220
- Build a new community auditorium at Barrington High School
- Enhance STEAM and instructional spaces for students (This includes modernized science lab classrooms at the middle school level to effectively implement current and future curriculum.)
Join us at our upcoming community meeting to learn more about the referendum, tour current spaces, and see why these improvements are needed:
- 12 PM Saturday, 9/28 at Barrington High School (immediately following the Homecoming parade)
