From Mrs. Barry
As I look at our Eagles, I can't help but think of the growth that we've seen in them since the beginning of this year. In academics, maturity - and in height! - our students continue to progress and get ready for their next stage, whether it's here at MWE or at their next setting. In the upcoming months, we will be taking both district and state assessments to measure some of that academic progress, but the true measurement doesn't always come in the form of a paper and pencil test. Sometimes you see it in an asked question or in a connection that is made. It's in a problem-solved or a relationship created. Progess can be demonstrated in a myriad of ways - how is your student showing you his/her growth?

Parent Input Form 2025-2026
Our goal for class placement is to provide the optimum learning environment for every child. We do our best to meet this goal, considering a variety of aspects including district, state, and federal mandates.
We value parent input for helping us understand your child’s specific needs, and every year, give parents the opportunity to give us insights that might help us in providing the best classroom setting. If you wish to fill out the optional Parent Input Form, we welcome your thoughts on the questions provided. Please note that we ask that you do NOT request a specific teacher. Because of the above-mentioned district, state, and federal requirements and other factors, we are not able to honor every request that we receive. In addition, we are also not able to honor other specific requests regarding classmates, etc.
Parent Input Forms are due to Mrs. Barry by March 28, 2025. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Barry.

All students will go through the museum during the school day, and we invite you to attend with your friends and family that evening as well at no charge. Note in the evening you can purchase fun items from their souvenir shop via credit card, debit card, and check.
Join us for MWE‘s first schoolwide Art Show on Wednesday, April 2nd from 5-7PM! Students have created fabulous artwork, and it’s time to celebrate their creations!
PreK, Kinder & 1st grade artwork includes their handprint within a painting; 2nd grade created marbleized peacocks; 3rd grade painted family portraits; and 4th and 5th grade created incredible self portraits.
Please join us for a special evening to celebrate these masterpieces which have been professionally matted and framed. These will be on display at the Art Show and available for a purchase price of $25! Additionally, we will have entertainment and complimentary light bites for your enjoyment. Feel free to stop by for a few minutes or stay for the full two hours. We are encouraging all students to join us with their families. We are so proud of our MWE students!
