Stanley Avenue Learner Dimensions
At Stanley Avenue School we have four key learner dimensions that are important for success in learning and in life as our students adapt to a complex and changing world. The learner dimensions focus on the whole child and are referred to frequently in class, within teams, when reporting to parents/ whānau, during Assemblies and in our day to day school life.

I asked the students quoted below from Room 6 ( Year 3/4 ) about what it means to display Manaakiatanga/ Team Player. Here are their responses:
Kate Naude: ‘To help and support others with their activity.’

Team Tui - Camp Waitawheta
Team Tui are getting excited about their upcoming camp from the 4th-6th of April at Waitawheta Camp. Camp fees are due by the end of March. Thank you to all who have returned their forms and paid for camp.
There is a parent meeting on the 22 March, explaining details of the camp and to answer any questions. This is a time where you can discuss with teachers any information they need to know about your child to set them up for a successful camp experience. This meeting will also assist parents coming as 'Day Helpers' to know what to expect.
The 'Overnight Parent Helper' meeting is on Wednesday the 29th of March at 5:30 pm. It is important that all overnight parents attend. If for any reason you can not make it, contact Debbie Hamilton debbie.hamilton@stanleyave.school.nz
