The Weekly Update 11
November 6th
Dear Parent Community:
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our Winter Clothing Swap. The event was a huge success, and we were thrilled to see so many families in attendance who benefited from the tremendous generosity of the Summit community. One of the most rewarding aspects of working in this School District is witnessing the outpouring of support we receive for initiatives like this.
Additionally, any leftover clothing will be donated to Grace in Summit, continuing the spirit of giving.
As we head into the long weekend, I want to wish everyone a relaxing and rejuvenating four-day break. I hope you take some time for rest and recovery, and find moments to enjoy with your friends, family, and loved ones.
Thanksgiving Food Drive Donations
We are excited to announce the start of our Thanksgiving Food Drive! This year, we will be collecting the following items to support Summit families in our community. Donations will be accepted from Monday, November 11th through Friday, November 22nd.
The baskets we create will be accompanied by two rotisserie chickens, ensuring a full and festive meal for each family. Thanks to the tremendous support we’ve received over the years, we look forward to another successful drive this year. Donations can be dropped off in the main lobby.
