This Weekly Parent Update covers Monday and Tuesday and also the week following Thanksgiving. I will not send an update out next Friday, Nov. 29th when we are on Holiday.

Parents - please read about new online payment tool
Starting Dec. 2, our district is using a new tool to collect online payments. SchoolCash Online will allow you to pay for field trips, yearbooks, athletics fees and other items electronically. No more scrambling to find cash and hoping it makes it to your child’s teacher on time!
To access the new system and set up your parent account, go to Gcsnc.schoolcashonline.com. It will only take a few minutes to set up. If you need help, click here: https://helpdesk.supportschoolcashonline.com/en/support/home.
SchoolCash Online will be used to pay for items all purchases except cafeteria items, which will continue using the K12 Payment Center system until later this spring, when the district will switch to a system called School Café. Funds deposited in K12 Payment Center will be reallocated to the new platform.

Personal Care Items Donation Drive: We are collecting full-sized personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant) for Guilford Backpack Ministry from November 18th through December 6th. All grades and staff will be competing to see who will donate the most items - the winner will get a treat! Donation bins will be located in the Commons Area.
