White Week Library Visit/Checkout Schedule
Blue Week Library Visit/Checkout Schedule
**Schedules are listed by the last name of the ELA teachers.
- Students are able to have up to three books checked out at a time.
- Books are checked out for two weeks.
Accessit
Accessit is our library circulation system in HSSD. During the month of September, all ELA classes have had a chance to login to their account and learn some features of this program.
Students have learned how to:
- search for an item(s) in our library and find it on the shelf
- find what book is next in a series
- see their individual checkouts
- see when their books are due
- set up "my interests" for books in our library
Battle of the Books - coming soon!
Battle of the Books is a statewide reading challenge competition. Students create teams and read a pre-selected list of twenty books (these are divided amongst the team members). Then, in late January or early February, teams will compete against each other, by grade level, to be the Lineville grade level championship team. Each grade level championship team will also compete in the state Battle of the Books competition.
**Information regarding Battle of the Books will be shared with students in early to mid October.

YOUR NEXT GREAT READ!
Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea
Chapter One: Peter
" It's our bad luck to have teachers in this world, but since we're stuck with them, the best we can do is hope to get a brand-new one instead of a mean old fart. New teachers don't know the rules, so you can get away with things the old-timers would squash you for. That was my theory. So I was feeling pretty excited to start fifth grade, since I was getting a rookie teacher ---a guy name Mr. Terupt. Right away, I put him to the test."
