Hawks Happenings
Vol. 1, Issue 2 - Weekly Update
Dear Hofius Family,
What a GREAT first week back to school. While we had a few hiccups that were out of our control, our students, parents, and teachers were phenomenal and flexible. With each day that passes, our procedures will become smoother and more comfortable for us all. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We are so glad to be together and are ready for our first full week of school!!
Go Hawks!
Sincerely,
Ally Zamora

2023 Boys and Girls Cross Country Opportunity
Hey Hofius Hawks! It’s time to get your athletic career started! If your child is a 7th or 8th grade boy or girl, Cross Country is the sport for them. Cross country builds your endurance and strength for ALL sports at Hofius. If your child played or plays soccer, this is ALSO the best sport for them. We need them! We will train your child to do their very best! Allow them to come be a part of a District Championship team! Practice begins Thursday, August 17th. Please contact me, Coach Powell for more information via email: dburnett1@kleinisd.net I look forward to hearing from you!
Hofius PTO Corner
The Hofius PTO works hard to support our students, teachers and staff and would love to have you join them! If you are interested in joining the PTO, you can fill out this Google form to help support all that they do for our Hawks.
Would you like to show support for your Hofius Hawk while supporting our PTO? Now is the chance to pre-order a yard sign that can be personalized for your student. Pre-orders will be distributed at Open House on August 17 and new orders can be placed at Open House as well.
Vapes and E-Cigarettes
Safety remains our priority in Klein ISD. The state of Texas has passed a law that any student caught vaping or in possession of a vaping device at school could be sent to alternative school (DAEP). Parents please take note that the consequences for students have increased greatly. Please see the safety letter that was sent to families last week for more information.
Thank you for your partnership and for working with us to help every student achieve success and find their purpose.

Students are required to use their ID badge for every cafeteria transaction. By using their student badge, our system will capture all the account’s activity, allowing parents to view the items purchased.
