Happy Fall!

It’s almost time for the Fall Book Fair happening in the Copper Creek Library October 15-22, 2024. Students will visit the book fair with their homeroom teacher and the fair will be open after school and during conferences for students to shop with their families.

All purchases support our library.

The book fair will be open after school with the following closing times:

Tu 10/15: 4:30 PM

W 10/16: 6:00 PM

Th 10/17: 6:30 PM

F 10/18 3:30 PM

M 10/21 4:00 PM

Tu 10/22: 4:00 PM.

On Wednesday, 10/16, Rita’s Shave Ice will be available for purchase in the courtyard. Bring your family to visit the book fair and enjoy a cool treat!

Students came home with a Fall Reading Log this week. If interested in participating, students can color in one book image on the log for every book they read or for every 20 minutes of reading and turn it in to their teacher by October 14 to be entered into a prize drawing for the book fair.

Our first battle for Battle of the Books will take place in the library on Monday, September 30, at 2 PM. Parents/family members of participating students may attend. Good luck to our participating 5th and 6th grade students as they battle in teams against each other to answer questions about 4 books they have read. This event is sponsored by the Deer Valley Education Foundation.

• Teachers are not on morning duty until 8:15 am each day.
• Please do not drop off your children at school before 8:15 am.
• Gates to the school will remain locked until 8:15 am each morning.
• The cafeteria begins serving breakfast at 8:15 am each morning.

Sunny Brew Coffee, a Copper Creek family owned coffee truck will be on our campus every Monday morning from 7:00-8:45am starting Monday, October 14th. 10% of all sales will go back to Copper Creek. The truck will be parked in our parking lot and available to parents/community, staff, and teachers. See flier for options and pricing. Let's come together to support a local community business.
