Just prior to the meeting, from 6:45 to 7:00 p.m., CCSD93 Board Member Josh Payton will host a Listening Post. A Listening Post is an opportunity for community members to informally discuss topics of interest directly with a Board Member. If this is of interest to you, please stop in at 6:45 p.m. for some face-to-face time with Board Member Payton.
At the Board meeting, students from Heritage Lakes will present information about an exciting and unique club at Heritage Lakes called Live Announcements Club. Live Announcements Club creates live video announcements every Friday for students and staff to watch. It features students presenting our daily pledges, and sharing events that occur at Heritage Lakes school, weather updates, student birthdays and more. This year for the first time since Live Announcements started in 2016, students stepped behind the camera to become script writers, set designers, camera operators and production assistants.

Box Tops for Education
Dear Families,
Are you looking for a quick and easy way to support our school?
Box Tops for Education has been around for over 25 years, and it really can make a difference. In fact, the Box Tops program has helped give almost one billion dollars to schools since 1996.
The Box Tops app gives participants the ability to earn for any school across the country with just the touch of a button. Plus, the Box Tops app allows you to search for schools that could use a little extra help, so you can help give students in low-income schools the opportunity to succeed.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Buy participating products and use the Box Tops app to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and earnings are credited to your designated school online. Even if you’re shopping online or doing grocery pickup, you can still submit your digital or email receipt with the Box Tops app and earn. Twice a year, our school gets a check!
See a list of participating products at BTFE.COM/PRODUCTS
Box Tops earnings really add up, and the more people that participate, the bigger the impact we can make. So let’s give our teachers the support they need and give more kids the opportunity to succeed.
Follow the steps below to start earning:
- Use this link to download the app and help us earn additional bonuses for our school after you scan your first receipt: https://btfe.smart.link/c2jjdifkw?referral_code=Q7H187GF
- Choose your grade level! This school year we will offer rewards and prizes for the grade level who earns the most money for our school!
- Follow our Facebook Page at Heritage Lakes PTA for additional information and leaderboard updates.
- Start scanning! Receipts can be submitted digitally or on paper using the app.
Please email angelalatrofa@gmail.com with any questions!
Together, we can help make a big difference!
