The Bogata Hotel Casino & Spa announced that it will host its first world poker tour to visit Atlantic City on Sept. 17. The Bogata Poker Open will be held at the Bogata Poker Room from Saturday, Sept. 20, to Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, and the final round will be held at Music Box on Sept. 22.

The World Poker Tour will turn poker into a spectator sport, hosting high-stakes tournaments in the world's most prestigious casinos and airing the final of each event for two hours each week on the Travel Channel at 9 p.m. EDT/PT on Wednesday night.

The Borgata Poker Open, with prize money of approximately $500,000 or more, will be broadcast nationwide as part of its World Poker Tour.
