A Message from Mr. Jacobs
Hello Bear Branch Family,
We hope you all enjoy our upcoming Spring Break! This will be an incredible time for our students to rewind, reset, and prepare for the end of the semester.
Upon our return, students will begin preparing for our testing season in April. As many of you know, our campus has a built in advisory period called Bear Block where we can intervene and extend on learning- as well as just provide some extra time for students to practice and apply content. This nine weeks we will be utilizing this period much more for test preparation and content application. This is valuable time built into our schedule that we are committed to using more effectively now and in the coming years.
With that being said, there will be shifts in Bear Block schedules for some students whose teachers believe they will benefit from the extra practice with their daily content teachers, rather than just their normal Bear Block teachers.
Eighth grade students will begin working with these specific teachers when we return from break on March 17th - and 7th grade students will begin the same process March 21st.
-Mr. Jacobs
