Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA, is searching for an Assistant Professor of Education with a focus on social justice, contemporary multicultural issues, and culturally responsive teaching. The primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Multicultural Education and Culturally Responsive Teaching.
Candidates with knowledge of and lifelong connection to Tribal communities of the Pacific Northwest would also have the opportunity to teach courses integrating Tribal sovereignty, culture, and history for teacher candidates.
Additional responsibilities include academic advising, scholarly activity, program development and assessment, and professional service. Faculty will integrate CWU's commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all students.
We're offering a salary, depending on education and experience, from $66,000 - $76,000 annually plus the awesome CWU benefits.
