OLVCS Updates
February 27th, 2025
Dear OLVCS Families,
This week we held the Basketball Bonanza, it was awesome! So much fun, so much energy!! Thank you to Kathy Peters and Marlena Vendemia for organizing and running the days. We all had a great time.
Next week is the beginning of Lent. We will attend Mass on Ash Wednesday, at 10:00. Then on Friday, we will attend Stations of the Cross, beginning at 1:25.
We will continue with our annual Lenten Service Project; The Jared Box. Below you will find a video describing the project. We are so very proud that this project started here at OLVCS in 2001. Jared attended Preschool and Kindergarten at OLV and his mother was a Preschool teacher for years. It is very near and dear to our hearts. https://thejaredbox.org/
We are asking each family to make a box. Boxes will be sent home on Ash Wednesday.
Make it a Great Day!
Samantha

Parents Praying For Our Schools
Looking for Something "To Do" for Lent?
We got that! Sign up now to pray to 15 min one day per week for the students, teachers, and administrations of OLV and Saint Joseph's - that's only 6 times! Lent begins on March 5th. Sign up now at https://stjoeacad.org/parents-praying/. You will receive an email reminder each week, to help you "keep on praying." Our goal is to have one parent, grandparent, or friend of OLV and Saint Joseph's to be praying for our schools on each of the 40 days of Lent.
Mr. Stec's Clean Up Crew
