Dear Parent or Guardian, November 29, 2023

The District will provide an Active Assailant Training for employees at each school site. Early dismissal from the regular school day is scheduled. All students will get out at 11:45am.

SHINE and Catalyst Kids will still be available on this day and will have their regular release time. The duration of the training is two hours, and it will occur shortly after the early dismissal at each school site: Dec. 14 - Sunkist During the Active Assailant Training, staff members will have opportunities to implement everything they learn in the training to keep an intruder out of their classroom, and the words “Lockdown” will be used during the training. SHINE parents did receive a letter giving more detail of the training while their child is on campus.

Thank you teachers for arranging and rescheduling all of your parent conference. I know how much work you put into the conferences. Thank you parents for taking the time out of your busy schedule to partner with your child's teacher for a successful conference!!!

Thank you to our Band Teacher, Mrs. Crutcher for a wonderful demonstration of what our students have been doing every Thursday in their band class!!!! Thank you teachers for particpating too in the weekly class. We appreciate all the parents that were able to come and see their child perform. We had standing room only on November 16th!!!!!!!!!!

Please join us for a wonderful performance!!!!

Just a reminder that Winter Break starts on December 21-January 9. All students will return on January 9th, 2024 at their normal time.

ALL students do get out on December 20th at 11:45am. There will be no SHINE or Catalyst Kids on December 20th. Please make arrangements to pick up your child at 11:45am.
