Library Position
As most of you know, Mrs. Wigant will be retiring on December 6th. Her replacement definitely will have big shoes to fill. Her library position has been posted in hopes that a hire will be made prior to Mrs. Wigant's retirement so that Mrs. Wigant can help train her replacement. The position will be a 5-hour position. Please encourage anyone who may be interested in the position to apply on the district website.
Code Red Drill
Our fall Code Red drill will be taking place in the morning on Tuesday, September 10th. The drill will begin by an announcement being made that we will be practicing a Code Red drill. When the announcement is made, please evacuate the building quickly and quietly following our Code Red procedures. Make sure an adult makes sure your exit is clear prior to any students exiting the building. There will be no "active intruder" for this fall drill. Do not have your students leave the school property.
The Geneseo Police Department will again be observing the drill to provide feedback. A whistle will be blown when the drill is complete and students and staff are able to reenter the building.
Parents will be notified about the drill. If you have any questions, please touch base with Brian prior to the drill.
