Stay on Course: Keep Checking Your Maps!
With so many exciting things happening at Cypress, itβs important to stay in the know. Make sure to regularly check our Cypress website and read our Cub Communications for all the latest updates. These resources are your **treasure maps** to all the upcoming events, meetings, and important information to keep your family connected to our communityβs journey.
Mark Your Calendars: Thursday, October 31st!
We have a double celebration on the horizon! On Thursday, October 31st, weβll be hosting our October Character of the Month Assembly first at 8:30 AM, where weβll recognize our students for their PRIDEful behavior. Immediately, following the assembly, weβll jump into our Halloween Parade, where our Cubs can showcase their creativity and have a little festive fun. Remember, thereβs still plenty of learning to do that day, so make sure your student stays in school for the rest of the adventure-filled day!
We invite all families to participate in this important mission! Together, we can ensure that our students are equipped with the best tools for their educational adventures.
Letβs continue to chart a bright future for Cypress and our students. Together, we are building a school full of PRIDE, exploration, and discovery!
Adventure awaits,

Library Hours π
The Cypress ES Library is a warm and welcoming place for students, teachers, and parents. It is the goal of the library program to develop and encourage a love of reading for all students and assist them in becoming critical thinkers who are effective and responsible users of information.
Tiny Tuesday β°
Please mark your calendar to remember that all Tuesdays are early dismissals at 12:10 p.m.
School Uniform ππ©³
District K-5 schools have a mandatory uniform/standardized dress policy adopted by the Board of Education. This policy provides an opportunity for students to dress neatly for school, and it helps students to look at othersβ character instead of their attire.
Tuesday Dress
No Crocs or Sandals. π©΄
Due to slipping and tripping issues, crocs and sandals are NOT ALLOWED as they are a safety hazard.
Safety is our #1 Priority πΈ
Please prioritize the safety of our school community by strictly adhering to the parking lot rules. Following traffic guidelines and reducing your speed is crucial for a secure and efficient drop-off and pick-up process. Your commitment to these rules ensures a safe environment for our students and their families and contributes to the overall well-being of our school community. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a secure and orderly school environment.
At this time, the middle lane will remain closed, beginning at 8:00 AM. Please plan accordingly. Breakfast begins at 7:40 AM so you are more than welcomed to drop off earlier to beat the traffic. If you are parking, please be mindful when backing up and exiting the parking lot, in a safe manner.
Please follow traffic and parking laws and courteous practices for the safety of our students and for our neighbors.
