Lago Vista Intermediate is excited about UIL! We had our annual Kick Off Rally on Friday, November 8 during lunch. Sign-up sheets will be posted at the Intermediate campus the week of November 11, and students can begin signing up for events in which they would like to compete. Below is the list of the UIL events and coaches for 4th and 5th Grades. Students may sign up for more than one event. You can also visit the UIL website for more information and details regarding each event.

Coaches will form their teams, and practices will begin after Thanksgiving Break. The coach of each event will notify students and parents of their practice/try-out schedule. Practice times for some events will be integrated into the school day, and others will require after school practices.

We will not be traveling to another school district for our competition. Instead, we will hold our own Lago Vista Intermediate UIL Meet during the school day on Friday, February 7, 2025 for Grades 4-5 at the Intermediate campus. More details will be provided at a later date.

Each month, a teacher selects a super star and super citizen from her class. These are two students that have been working hard, showing kindness, helping others, and giving 100%. Congratulations to our October Super Stars!

These are back by popular demand! We have had so many parents ask for t-shirts that we are selling them again. If you are interested in purchasing a Lago Vista Intermediate School T-shirt, they are on sale now! Orders are due by Friday, November 15th to Mrs. Mercado in the office. T-Shirts are $15 and will be delivered to students.

Mark your calendar for December 18th for our 4th Grade Winter Performance and Art Show "A Night at the Movies."

In 2020, our amazing Lago Vista ISD community made a powerful investment in our students’ futures by approving Proposition A! Thanks to this bond, we’ve added vital academic spaces, expanded our CTE facilities, and introduced a dedicated CTE wing that includes hands-on spaces for Health Science Nursing and Culinary Arts! These improvements address student enrollment growth, modernize our facilities, and ensure our students have access to top-tier educational programs. Huge thanks to our Lago Vista ISD community for believing in our students and their potential!

Today the students had fun at the APEX Kick-Off Pep Rally! It was loud and fun! Thank you families for always supporting our school!
