We would like to invite our parents to an upcoming assembly brought to us by our West Wing PTSA. Please join us for a special event promoting kindness and fun on Tuesday, May 14 at the Lollipop. Parents please bring your own chair if you would like to sit. All parents should park at Copper Hills Church or the West Wing Park and enter campus at the Trail Gate. All students should bring a towel to sit on.

Mrs. Preston was named coach of the month for DVUSD 7/8 Athletics. We are so grateful for all you to with our girls basketball team! Thank you Mrs. Preston!

LuAnne served in many DVUSD schools over her 27 year career! She spent the last 10 years at West Wing. She fostered a loving and caring cafeteria for our students and has mentored students over the years. We are so happy for you LuAnne!

Thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Farr for leading and organizing our Mustang Store all year and to all of the volunteers that helped run the store for our students! We appreciate you all so very much! Thank you to all of the parents that helped to stock our store each month as well!

• We cannot sign out kids 15 minutes before dismissal (3:15 is the cutoff).
  
• Reminder we cannot do deliveries to classrooms or call classrooms except for glasses or chromebooks. Phone messages only delivered to students at 2:30. If there is a pick up change, please call our office before 2:30.
• For those who are interested in volunteering in classrooms and/or attending field trips, you will need to attend a one time district volunteer training (class locations and times can be found at www.dvusd.org). If you have already taken the training you must come in to the front office to update your information, this must be done every year.

Please be sure to bring your ID into the office when you check-in. All volunteers and visitors are scanned in and a sticker is printed for you to wear while on campus. Please stop in the office to scan your badge when you depart campus. Thank you for your cooperation with this.

8th graders and 1st graders worked together this past week! Our oldest students enjoy being role models to our younger students both in the classroom and around campus!

Great job to our Girls and Mrs. Grosjean for 2nd place at their Spiritline Championship this weekend!
