Heading Towards Graduation With The Generals!!!
Guide To Graduation- Please Read
Attention Class of 2025 Students, Parents, and Families: We have updated our Graduation Guide for Seniors and their families. This guide has important information you need to know if you plan to attend graduation this year. Please review this with your Senior and any family members who may want to attend. This is the biggest event we host every year and we want you to have all the information necessary to celebrate your graduate. Please click https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T-zdFX34nwO6oko5FdT3-MMrnV62kPHp01vrV9YUG8I/edit?usp=sharing to view the guide. Click HERE for the program. If you have any questions, please reach out to the school so we can assist you. We're excited to celebrate our graduates and look forward to seeing everyone for the ceremony. Go Generals!!!
Please Pay Any/All Cafeteria Balances As Soon As You Can
HHS Parents/Guardians: The situation with cafeteria balances is a little out of control and we need your help. As of this past week, our students owe over $20,000 in cafeteria charges. We made adjustments earlier in the year to slow the increase in this bill but it is still a substantial amount. We have been contacting parents and updating them about these charges. Thank you to those of you who have paid your student's bill. We still have a long way to go so please be sure to check your student's cafeteria balance. We have several outstanding balances that need to be paid as soon as possible. If you think you would qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch, then contact the school quickly. Also, if you or your place of business is interested in donating funds to cover some of these charges, please reach out to the school. We are certain some of these families would appreciate your kindness. Thank you for your help!--UPDATED: Special thanks to those of you who have sent in payments. We have been able to lower our charges from $22,000 to $17,000. We still have a long way to go but this is a great start.
Attendance Notes Reminder
All Attendance Notes are due Wednesday by 12:00 pm. This will affect your student's ability to exempt finals. Attendance notes must be turned in within 10 days of the absence.

School Safety Is A Priority
Parents, please help your students understand the importance of being aware of their surroundings. Please encourage your child to say something if they see or hear something that sounds un-safe or potentially dangerous. A courageous student willing to report something suspicious can make all the difference. This is something they should practice inside and outside of school to ensure their safety.
Everyone Is Responsible For School Safety
Students who see or hear something suspicious have many options when it comes to reporting what they see. Make sure they know they can report to an administrator, a teacher, a school counselor, or an adult they trust. They can also text hello to 741-741. Leaders cannot act on information they don't have so please encourage your student report what they see and hear if it is suspicious or dangerous. We're better together!
Arriving After 8:15???
Any student arriving after 8:15 am will need to enter through the front office. CCA, Work-Based Learning, and Dual Enrollment students who arrive on campus after 8:15 will need enter the building through the front office. We have posted signs at the gym entrance to let students know this as well.
Purchase Your Parking Permits ASAP...
Student drivers need to purchase a parking permit as soon as possible. Parking permits are $30 and can be purchased in the HHS Front Office.
Counselors Corner
If your student needs support, please have them connect with one of our counselors. They serve students based on the student's last name. See below to find the contact information for your child's counselor.

Heritage Parents,
One of the biggest needs for HHS is to find people willing to become bus drivers for Catoosa County Schools. Please help us to continue to get the word out so that we can find and train courteous, reliable, safe and professional bus drivers! We need you to spread the word! Please speak with your friends, family and neighbors to see if they may know of anyone interested in becoming a part of our outstanding team.
